Check with your local little league. I think they have to be 5 yrs. by a certain cut off date.

4 - We have already played 4 games this season. Season end I believe the first week in June. We started practice 2nd week in April and opening day was last week in April. We still have a few weeks left.

Thanks!! My son is turning 3 on Tuesday and his birthday will come too late next year so I guess I have 1-2 more years before the T-ball fever hits this house! LOL!!

THAT IS GREAT. just keep the expectations down. kids 4-6 dont play positions, they play in dirt, they day dream. they are really just out playing whatever. some don't listen for anything. you might have 3 on a team if you are lucky that you can look to to play a whole game

Ugh I HATE tee-ball I am not on my 3rd kid and 6th year of it what was cute the 1st year (Batters running to 3rd instead of 1st, the catching of grasshoppers, the dogpile that is the result of a ball being hit near a cluster of kids) gets VERY old by the 3rd or 4th game and now 6 YEARS into it it feels like an icepick in my brain......That being said it is cute for awhile LOL

No doubt...... All the kids were into it the first couple of games but the more games we play the less they are interested in it.

    Re: what age?

Been coaching T-Ball for 3 years in wise and am running the league this year and I love it! Of course my 6 year old has been playing now for 3 years. I'll be sticking around little league in Wise for many years now with a 1.5 year old and another boy due in September!

    Re: what age?

I can fully see my son out in a field, playing in the dirt, and not paying attention at times (most times). I just want him to have fun and learn with kids his age.
My husband asked my son last night " Do you want to play T-Ball?" Scott said "Want to play T-Ball!!" He then asked him "Do you want to play football?" Scott said "Want to play football!!"
He is going to be an active feller!!
